| Since 2000, three innovative projects from excellent developers or scientists have received the Berthold Leibinger Innovationspreis. The topic expanded from laser applications in production technology in 2002 to include laser applications in medicine and biotechnology. Since 2006, the prize has covered the application and generation of laser light without any other topic-related limitations. |
